Danielle Pattavina Pops Up at Forage

Locally grown food and natural wines are what Forage is all about, so Danielle Pattavina, owner of Momma’s Grocery + Wine is going to fit in perfectly when she pops in with a handful of her favorite bottles for this week’s Small Business Highlight Wine Dinner on Tuesday, February 20th. Momma’s is the place to go in Cambridge for regionally grown organic produce and locally made products, and chef Eric Cooper has worked his magic with some of the best of what’s available in our area for this four-course feast, including Smoked Trout with Luxurious House Made Sour Cream and Pickled Garlic Scapes (paired with 2016 Savagnin “Entre Deux” Buronfosse, Jura); and Slow Cooked Pork Loin with Potato Canoodle and Herbs (paired with “2022 Tout Feu Tout Femme,” Laura Aillaud, Luberon). Dinner is served between 5:00 and 8:45pm in their cozy Cambridge dining room, and you can grab reservations here. Dinner costs $110 per person to dine in, which includes all your food and wine, or you can take everything to go for two people for $160 (order here). Forage’s wines are always available to take home by the bottle for retail prices, so be sure to snag one or two before you head out for the night, or you can always swing by Momma’s at 2304 Massachusetts Ave and say hi to Pattavina later in the week to pick up your favorites.
