Oyster Shucking Classes at B&G

Brush up on your oyster shucking with the folks at B&G OystersBarbara Lynch’s seafood-focused South End spot will be hosting two tutorials this month so you can learn the ins-and-outs from their in-house experts. Sign up for either sesh – Wednesday, March 6th or Wednesday, March 27th – and get yourself down to Tremont Street at 6:00pm for a hands-on demo courtesy of No. 9 Park’s Raymond Harris, who honed his skills at The Shuckery and and Hogs Island Oyster Co. in California. 

The classes cost $77.50 per person, which includes step-by-step instruction, a half dozen oysters to shuck (and eat), a glass of champagne and a B&G t-shirt ‘though they’ve got add-ons like full bottles of bubbly, caviar, shrimp cocktail and oyster knives if you want to fancify your experience.
