Author Molly Stevens at Bambara

Recently appointed chef Michael Haimowitz welcomes cookbook author Molly Stevens to Bambara on Thursday, December 2nd for an afternoon of braising. Stevens, who teaches cooking classes across the country, will create a four-course menu featuring items from All About Braising, The Art of Uncomplicated Cooking, items like braised leek and applewood smoked bacon tart with housemade crème fraiche and mache salad; shortribs braised in porter ale with maple rosemary glaze, celery root puree and parsnips crisps; and Muscat braised winter fruit with buttermilk ice cream and pound cake.
