An Evening with Jacques Pepin at UpStairs on the Square

Owners Mary-Catherine Deibel and Deborah Hughes welcome celebrated chef and author Jacques Pepin to UpStairs on the Square for a wine reception celebrating the paperback publication of his wonderfully readable memoir Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen. The reception, which will be held on Tuesday, May 4th in the Monday Club Bar, will feature hors d’oeuvres inspired by Pepin’s own recipes as prepared by chefs Amanda Lydon and Susan Regis. Drop by from 6:30-8:00pm for chicken liver terrine with sweet and sour prunes; cold sorrel soup; mussel salad with capers, tarragon and dill; beignets de pommes de terre; salt and pepper eel with cilantro and red jalapeno; and steak tartare with harissa on brioche toast.
