Drop in at Avenue One on Thursday, April 1st for a chance to meet the 2004 Board of Directors of the Boston Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food. Whether you’re a member or not, it’s a great opportunity to hear about some of the activities planned for the year, and to get involved. AIWF is a non-profit educational organization devoted to improving the appreciation, understanding, and accessibility of food and drink. After the meeting, stick around for the Silent Auction, in which you can bid on gift certificates, wine, books and more, all while sampling creative hors d’oeuvres prepared by chef Brad Ozerdem. Proceeds from the Silent Auction provide funding for AIWF programs both locally and nationally. The meeting starts at 6:30pm followed by the auction and reception from 7:00-9:00pm.
