Leave your St. Patrick’s Day treats in the more than capable hands of the team at Ovenbird Cafe, where chef-owner Jason Reed is adding a curated selection of on-point specials to the regular offerings. Swing by the Belmont cafe, bakery and caterer to grab lunch (dine-in or take-away) on Saturday, March 16th or Sunday, March 17th – they’ll have plates of Guinness beef stew, house-cured corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, carrot, pearl onions and turnips, and OB reubens made with seasoned and slow cooked house-cured brisket, sauerkraut, gruyere and thousand island dressing on Nashoba Brook rye. Grab seasonal goodies like shamrock cookies and soda bread while you’re at it. Ovenbird is open from 8:00am-5:30pm on Saturday and 9:00am-2:00pm on Sunday so plan your outing (and your St. Paddy’s Day eats) accordingly.
