Restaurant Week Newbies

The March installment of Restaurant Week Boston (also known as Dine Out Boston) starts this weekend; it’s a lovely – and low risk! – way to scope out some new-to-you spots including a slew of freshly opened restaurants and first time participants. Have a peek at some of the Restaurant Week newcomers below and add them to your must-try list.

If you’re feeling Italian for Restaurant Week, be sure to add Josephine in Somerville and Mida East Boston to your list, or steer clear of the city entirely and make a beeline for Sogno in Woburn or Bar Cino in Watertown.

Perhaps French fare is more up your alley? Head for the Fenway to check out DW French, or cruise over to Kenmore Square for dinner at Blue Ribbon Brasserie.

Or how about a mini trip to Spain by way of the Seaport? Just book a table at Boqueria to enjoy a menu of small plates at either lunch or dinner.

If you’re leaning all-American, there’s Joe’s on Newbury in the heart of the Back Bay and Gordon Ramsay Burger right off the Rose Kennedy Greenway, as well as Moxies in the Seaport and The Lexington in Cambridge.

Maybe you’re more in the mood for a steakhouse experience? Add STK in Copley Square to your Restaurant Week agenda or book a table at the new Capital Grille in Dedham or find your way out to Wayland for a New England-y take at Coach Grill.

If you’re big in to seafood take a spin out to ‘burbs to check out Row 34 Burlington or swing through the Back Bay for lunch or dinner at Little Whale Oyster Bar. There are two Luke’s Lobsters to choose from this time around, too so you can get your lobster roll fix in the Back Bay or Downtown Crossing.
