A New Rail Trail Flatbread

Rail Trail Flatbread Co.

The pizza pros at Rail Trail Flatbread Co. have the ultimate holiday present ready to unwrap on Tuesday, December 12th: an all-new, second location in Milford. Fans of the OG spot in Hudson will feel right at home at 223 Main Street, which has all the charm and taste of the original, including their signature wood-fired flatbread pizzas and classic comfort food.

The same team that created the Hudson flagship, Michael Kasseris, Karim El-Gamal, Jason Kleinerman, and chef Thomas Kepner, took their time to find just the right spot for the second installment of their successful pizza palace. After four years they found the ideal outpost to gather great food, warm friends, and cold beers in the historic building that once held Rockland Trust. Inside you’ll find lots of open space and exposed brick, with comfy booths and some traditional table seating, with big windows looking out onto main street.

The menu is packed with Rail Trail classics and a few new fun twists, including apps like their wood-fired chicken wings, hot tots and truffle feta fries; crispy Greek, honey beet, and Caesar salads; and of course pizzas like Steak and Cheese, the Farmer’s Market and Mexican Street Corn pies. There’ll be plenty of local microbrews to wash it down, plus a bevy of wintery cocktails to try like the Perry Lane (honey-cinnamon liqueur, pear, brandy, lemon).

The official grand opening takes place on the 11th anniversary of the opening of the original Rail Trail, and you can grab reservations for the big day here. They’re open that day from 11:30am to 9:30pm, which will give you plenty of time to stop by and say hi and have a look around. Be sure to check out the Milford website for all their menus and other hours, as well as lots of pictures and a video of the new space, and give them a call at 978.293.3552 for takeout or order here.
