Serafina, Coming to the Seaport in Early May

Seaport diners and dwellers, get ready for a spring and summer full of pizza and pasta and all sorts of Italian eats – Serafina will be opening a new location on Fan Pier in early May. Just steps away from the Harborwalk, the waterfront outpost (big sister to the one on Newbury Street) will feature an expanded menu from chef Hector Hernandez, complete with classics like chicken milanese, cioppino and veal scaloppine (in addition to the aforementioned array of pizza and pasta).

Designed by Petra Hausberger of Somerton Park Interiors, the space will evoke Italian Riviera vibes with sandy hues and shades of pale green, rose and terracotta. There are two private dining rooms in addition to the central space, which can accommodate groups of six to eight at curved leather baguettes under the canopy of two beautiful natural olive trees. If you’ve got a smaller group, you can snag two- and four-tops by the floor-to-ceiling windows (for year-round people watching), or find a perch on the expansive patio (for taking in the lovely view and enjoying the salt air). If you’re a fan of bar seating, they’ve got that too, as well as a whole separate pizza kitchen and bar, where you can watch the team prepare, cook and serve your pie.

Serafina Seaport plans to be open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner with weekend brunch debuting shortly after. Check back for more info as the official opening gets closer and keep an eye on their Insta in the meantime for updates.
