This summer’s Restaurant Week Boston (also known as Dine Out Boston) has a few first-timers in the mix, and you’ll definitely want to scope out their offerings. Eat your weight in meaty meals at the downtown location of Boston Chops, or if you’d prefer seafood over a steakhouse, make your way to Mooncusser Fish House for your fill of catches from under the sea. Talulla is also turning heads — the newly opened intimate eatery in Cambridge is crafting homey yet fresh plates with a touch of French flair. Toichi Ichiban in Brookline, known for its innovative Japanese cuisine, is participating for the first time, and One Pot, a new Chinese restaurant in Malden, is also making its first appearance.

Other spots are getting in on the good times too, offering their own version of the discounted prix-fixe menus. Find all types of ways to fondue at The Melting Pot – Bedford/Burlington, classic French fare at Gaslight Lynnfield or Aquitaine Dedham, lots and lots of carefully plated seafood at Oak + Rowan and chef Louis DiBaccari’s take on hummus and Mediterranean small plates at his pop-up concept Humaari at Wink & Nod.
