Patricia Yeo’s Winter Solstice Party

Winter in New England is no picnic – short days, chilly weather, snow – but it’s especially dread-inducing for vegetarians, who see so many of their edible options disappear. On Wednesday, December 21st, chef Patricia Yeo celebrates the winter solstice, and gives herbivores some hope, with a meat-free five-course prix fixe that’s full of inventive preparations of wintry vegetables – root veggies, pumpkins and brassicas as well as various types of grains and pulses (which, in case you didn’t know, are legumes of the dried variety).
