Chef Mary Dumont Takes the Helm at Harvest

Come September, Harvest, the revered Harvard Square culinary landmark, gets a new chef. New Hampshire native and Food & Wine Best New Chef 2006, Mary Dumont takes the helm from chef Keith Pooler who heads out to Tyngsboro to head up the kitchen at the Left Bank at the Stonehedge Inn. Dumont, who was most recently the executive chef at the Dunaway Restaurant at Strawbery Banke, brings a healthy respect for local farmers and fishermen and a passion for food preservation and history that are in keeping with Harvest’s storied history and tradition of excellence.
