Month-Long Birthday Celebration at Icarus

In celebration of 29 successful years, Icarus, the South End’s original fine dining destination, brings back its $29 prix fixe for the month of July. The three-course menu, available from July 1st through July 29th, features dishes crafted from locally-sourced, frequently organic ingredients – summer vegetable antipasto with local cheese; corn chowder with lobster-glazed monkfish medallions; pan-fried sunburst trout with pecan brown butter; and grilled beef chuckeye with spicy tomato-basil relish. Expect chef-owner Chris Douglass and chef de cuisine Bill Flumerfelt to switch things up a bit throughout the month but whatever’s on the menu, reservations will go fast, so book your table soon by calling 617.426.1790.
