Art in Bloom at the MFA and at Bravo

With the Art in Bloom exhibit about to blossom, Bravo chef Jacqueline Kelly is putting the finishing touches on some celebratory menus in honor of this special, four day long show. The exhibit itself, now in its thirty-first year, features works of art from the museum’s collection reinterpreted in flowers by local garden clubs. To accompany these spectacular works of art, Kelly had created a spring-infused three-course prix fixe dinner menu, available on Monday, April 23rd. Dinner, which costs $50 per person, features courses like grilled green and white asparagus with mizuna lettuce and black truffle vinaigrette; roasted Berkshire pork loin with heirloom beans, early spring vegetables and stone ground mustard sauce; and Meyer lemon panna cotta. Kelly has also created a prix fixe lunch menu that will be available from Saturday, April 21st through Tuesday, April 24th. Served as either a two or a three course prix fixe (for $29 or $34 respectively) the menu is perfect for midday museum-goers who’ve worked up an appetite. Space is extremely limited and reservations are required. To book your table, call 617.369.3474.
