A Taste of Malaysia at Pigalle

Chef Marc Orfaly and chef de cuisine David Hamilton, fresh from traveling overseas, recreate some of the culinary highlights of their trip with a Malaysian-inspired bar menu at Pigalle. The tiny Theater District bistro takes a hiatus from its usual French fare, adding items like baby back ribs with sweet and sour kumquats; chicken curry triangles; shrimp shu mai with ponzu dipping sauce; and duck fried rice to the bar menu. Drop by after 5:00pm Tuesday through Sunday to grab a seat at the bar and enjoy Orfaly and company’s take on Malaysian cuisine.
