Sunday Suppers at The Met Club Go Dice-K Crazy

Celebrating the arrival of Daisuke Matsuzaka and the start of baseball season, chef Todd Winer fills The Metropolitan Club April Sunday Suppers with delicious Japanese cuisine. Winer’s three-course family-style menu, available Sunday evenings from 5:00-10:00pm, starts with appetizers options like fried crab stick – mozzarella stuffed with king crab and served with hot mustard and soy dipping sauce; and crispy rice fingers and tuna tartare with melon salad and tempura avocado. For entrees, Winer’s working on cedar baked miso salmon with pickled cucumber and daikon salad; and flatiron-seared tenderloin with sesame oshitashi and sizzling teriyaki. In keeping with the evening’s theme pastry chef Michelle Pattison will be serving green tea ice cream and lucky charms. Sunday Suppers, which change on a monthly basis, cost $30 per adult and $20 for children and can be paired with select wines from their extensive list available for a just $5 per glass. Call the Metropolitan Club at 617.731.0600 to make reservations or to get more information.
