Boston-Based Beard Nominees

Kudos to Boston-based chefs Frank McClelland of L’Espalier, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Michael Leviton of Lumiere and Patrick Connolly of Radius who are among this year’s nominees for James Beard Awards. McClelland, Orfaly and Leviton are all up for Best Chef Northeast, while Connolly is a nominee for Rising Star Chef of the Year. Oleana chef-owner Ana Sortun, who’s already got one Beard award under her belt, is up for another this year for her first cookbook, Spice: Flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Gala Reception on Monday, May 7th.
