Sunday Suppers at The Metropolitan Club

In his continued quest to bring families together around the dinner table, chef Jeffrey Fournier takes on the coastal cuisine of Maine in the July installments of Sunday Suppers at The Metropolitan Club. Guests can pull up a chair and tuck into appetizers like Ogunquit fish chowder or beer steamed clams with garlic and drawn butter. Entrée options include old school baked scrod with home-made bread crumbs and butter; and a traditional clam bake with 1¼ pound lobster, corn on the cob, potatoes and clams. For dessert – a Maine blueberry turnover sundae (the clam bake option costs an additional 10 clams). Sunday Suppers, which change on a monthly basis, cost $30 per adult and $20 for children. They’ll also be making select wines from their extensive list available for a mere $5 per glass. Call the Metropolitan Club at 617.731.0600 to make reservations or to get more information.
