Chef Daniel Bruce debuts his savory Bar Bites Menu, chock full of miniaturized versions of Meritage favorites. Served in Japanese soup spoons, bar bites are all scaled down versions of dishes featured on the dinner menu. Sample three for $10 or order them one by one for $3.50 each. Just a smattering of some of Bruce’s offerings: avocado guacamole with crisp wontons; maple smoked salmon and cucumber hash; Jonah crab and lemon salad; chicken, porcini mushroom and truffle salad; and roast foie gras with black pepper cranberry sauce.
