Make the most of your midday meal with Bambara’s Winter Power Lunch, available through the end of the month. Putting his own twist on the power lunch, chef Nathan Powers warms up with housemade hot chocolates (classic, peppermint, almond, hazelnut and marshmallow) and appetizers like mixed baby greens with sourdough croutons, mustard vinaigrette and shaved Sonoma dry Jack cheese; and a revolving roster of soups. The meals main event, depending on your mood, fresh tagliatelle with seared wild mushrooms, pecorino, and porcini butter; a cured beef brisket sandwich with celery root remoulade, pickles and housemade potato chips; or grilled chicken on ciabatta with smoky bacon, ancho chili aioli, gruyere, red onion rings. Powers wraps it all up with cookies – to eat in or take with you. Winter Power Lunch, which is available Monday through Friday from 11:30am until 2:00pm, costs $12 per person.
