In honor of G’Day USA and Australia Week, chef-owner Geoff Gardner brings a little taste of the Land Down Under to Boston’s waterfront with the Australian Wine & Food Extravaganza. On Tuesday, January 16th, Gardner and his team at Sel de la Terre will be preparing a four-course, Aussie-inspired spread and pairing it with some exceptional wines. Special guests include Anthony Hendrie of Wine Australia, Carol Devine from Australis, Jeremy Meltzer from Yellingbo Gold and Fox25 news anchor Maria Stephanos. Proceeds from the evening’s $120 per person price tag benefit the Dame Joan Sutherland Foundation, supporting the Boston City Singers’ Goodwill Tour, which is heading to Melbourne next summer.
