Recently appointed chef de cuisine William Kovel, spices up Aujourd’hui’s offerings this fall, adding an adventurous chef’s table, a spruced up bar menu and, coming in November, the Bubbly Bar every Friday night. Table 76, as the chef’s table is called, brings the drama of the kitchen right to the diner with an elaborate chef’s whim menu. Guests, who fork over $250 per person, will enjoy an exceptional no holds barred menu and spend plenty of quality time with Kovel and sommelier Brick Loomis, who’ll be checking in and chatting with diners throughout the evening. The bar menu, like the dining room menu, has been re-worked and filled with Kovel’s elegant yet approachable fare.
