Master the art of pie-making or take your wine tasting to the next level at either of the fall classroom sessions at blu at the Sports Club LA. On Saturday, October 21st pastry chef Lynn Moulton hosts a pie tutorial that covers homemade pie crust and two autumn-appropriate fillings – pumpkin and apple. Participants will leave with recipes and their very own pumpkin pie. Class runs from 1:30-3:00pm and costs $35 per person. If your wine IQ is in need of a boost, sign on for the Saturday, October 28th session which will explore harvest wines as paired with three small plates from chef Tom Fosnot. The afternoon’s yumminess includes roasted squab breast with local squash and sour cherries; a selection of Parmiggiano Reggiano with accompaniments; and braised veal cheeks with glazed local vegetables and chanterelles. Class runs from 1:30-3:00pm and costs $45 per person. Participants in either class who aren’t already members of The Sports Club/LA will walk with a complimentary week long pass to the club.
