Wine Week descends upon the Back Bay’s Smith & Wollensky from Monday, September 25th through Friday, September 29th. From its humble beginnings back in 1985, Wine Week has grown into one of the premier wine events for restaurant and wine lovers. Oenophiles need only make lunch reservations at Smith & Wollensky (sometime between the hours of 11:30am and 3:00pm) and they’ll be given the opportunity to try as many as ten wines for $10 on top of the cost of lunch. Each day’s offerings are different, so you should check the National Wine Week website for details. Proceeds from the five-day-long event, which takes place at all ten Smith & Wollesnkys as well as Maloney & Porcelli, Cité, Park Avenue Café and The Post House, benefit The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.
