On Monday evenings at OM Restaurant | Lounge, chef Rachel Klein pays tribute to different regional fares at a very reasonable price via a three-course prix fixe, the Buddha Belly Monday Menu. During the month of July, the courses take an eastern tack with Asian Barbeque Night. Expect heartier versions of OM’s pricier dining with an appetizer of Korean beef (chili spice and brown sugar rubbed sirloin) with seedless watermelon and Asian herb salad; and Klein’s Duet of Pork (black bean Chinese pork rib and braised pork belly with pickled vegetables, baby eggplant and black scallion rice) as the main course. Pastry chef Cristina Valente holds up her end of the menu with a coconut rice pudding using young coconut and condensed milk. The Buddha Belly Monday menu is available from 5:00-10:00pm and costs $40 per person not including tax or gratuity. Reservations aren’t required but you can call 617.576.2800 for directions or more information. If you’re looking for a pre-dinner nibble and a cocktail, you can enjoy
Momo and Martini Mondays at OM from 5:00-8:00pm. It might just be the perfect way to start out your week.
