If you’ve ever wanted a front row seat for a cooking show, Rustic Kitchen’s almost-up-and-running Park Square location has something that’s right up your alley. The new restaurant, scheduled to open in mid-September, is home to the Rustic Kitchen Viking Studio, a fully equipped television studio, where they’ll be filming In the Kitchen, a weekly cooking class featuring Rustic Kitchen favorites chosen by chef Tom Holloway. Hosted by Alissa Bigelow, the classes will walk guests through the preparation of dishes ranging from a classic Caesar salad to the perfect martini. Bigelow will also offer wine pairing suggestions and invaluable tips for home cooks. Classes in the intimate, 14-seat studio cost $35 per person.
