Hungry Sundays at Rialto Highlight Cioppino

During the month of July, wrap up your weekend or start out your week at Rialto’s Hungry Sundays, where chef Jody Adams will be creating a three-course menu built around the San Francisco favorite, cioppino. The $45 menu allows guests to choose two small plates from among choices like panzanella; prosciutto and mushroom crostini; and mutton buttons in dukkah with roasted beets and fennel. Cioppino is in the spotlight as the main course. Adams’ version of the tasty seafood stew is chock full of shrimp, littlenecks, mussels, tomatoes and peppers, and is accompanied by grilled rustic bread. Pastry chef Tal Shofman-Schejter tops off the meal with prune plum crostada with orange anise caramel and whipped cream.
