During the month of May Magnolias pays tribute to the cuisine of the Lone Star State with their Texas Tribute festival menu. Tuesdays-Saturdays from May 3rd through June 4th, chef John Silberman will be whipping up a special festival menu in addition to the regular menu at Magnolias. Look for appetizers like Cuban sandwich quesada – layers of smoked ham, Swiss cheese, roasted pork and sliced pickles stuffed between two flour tortillas; or grilled ancho chili and cumin rubbed sirloin steak served over crispy iceberg lettuce topped with buttermilk-blue cheese dressing. Entrée options include cornmeal-crusted pork chop served over onion cream gravy garnished with fresh chipotle salsa; and grilled tuna served over corn and roasted poblano chili sauce topped with red bell pepper coulis.
