The Bristol Lounge gets a little crowded come midday mealtime – what with all the suits trying to seal the deal and the Back Bay’s bevy of ladies-who-lunch, that’s why chef David Blessing has introduced the Express Lunch menu. Served only at the bar, the Express Lunch menu offers a selection of lunch favorites presented on one plate for a $27 fixed price. The choices include manageable portions of seasonal selections like New England clam chowder with oyster crackers; organic greens with tiny tomatoes, fresh herbs and Cape Cod cranberry vinaigrette; BBQ pulled chicken sandwich with Grafton cheddar and Bibb lettuce; and English toffee bread pudding with Grand Marnier sauce.
