Blood Orange Extravaganza at Bricco & Mare

Chef Marisa Iocco is putting the finishing touches on Blood Orange Extravaganza menus that’ll be available at both Bricco and Mare through the end of February. The three-course prix fixe menu at Bricco, based entirely on the sweet, vitamin-C-laden citrus fruit, costs $50 per person and includes courses like fennel souffle with blood orange coulis and blood orange-arugula salad; poached genovese of scallops and blood oranges with gnocchetti verdi; and blood orange sorbet paired with a chocolate “martini.” The Mare menu is four courses and costs $60 per person with dishes like peekytoe crab salad with blood orange mayo, monkfish with blood orange-ginger mostarda and blood orange dessert trio.
