On Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th, Boston’s City Hall Plaza plays host to thousands of hungry visitors at the 22nd annual Taste of Boston. Taste attendees, armed with their $1 Taste Tickets, can enjoy live music while sampling fare from dozens of area eateries including The Fireplace, Upper Crust, Caliterra and Fajitas & ‘Ritas. Guests will also get the chance to see their favorite chefs in action at the WRKO Celebrity Chef Demonstration area where Boston’s culinary stars take center stage – look for Gabriel Frasca of Spire, Michael Schlow of Radius, Via Matta and Great Bay, Jérôme Legras and David Blessing of Aujourd’hui at Four Seasons Boston, Ruth-Anne Adams of Casablanca, Michael Burgess of Nightingale, Michael Haimowitz of Bambara and Tom Fosnot of blu at the Sports Club LA, among others. Twenty one-year-old Taste-goers (with proper identification and $20) can try tastes of 180 wines from around the world in Gordon’s Fine Wine Grand Wine Tasting Pavilion. Proceeds from the two-day event benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. The event runs from 11:00am-6:00pm on Saturday and from 12:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday.
