Chocolate Bar is Back at the Langham Boston

Chocoholics, start your engines – the Langham Hotel is gearing up for the 17th season of its impossibly popular Chocolate Bar at Cafe Fleuri. Every Saturday, starting on September 10th, master pastry chef John Quinn (who also handles desserts for Julien) whips up more than 30 desserts for the buffet, including (but not limited to) chocolate tortes, seasonal cheese cakes, crème caramels, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, the Langham’s signature chocolate croissant bread pudding and hand-made chocolate “sushi.” The buffet also includes a create your own crepe station as well as a fondue station and the Zing Bar, where guests can dip their home made truffle “lollipops” into toppings like cayenne pepper, paprika, saffron, curry, ginger, espresso and candied fruits. The Chocolate Bar, which is offered from noon until 2:00pm, costs $26 per adult, $14 for children 12 and under and is free for children under the age of four.
