Bedford Village Inn’s 2005 Celebrity Chef’s Series

The Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, New Hampshire kicks off their 2005 Celebrity Chef’s Series this month. Their fifth season has been extended from May through November and features the Inn’s own award-winning chefs, Joseph Brenner and Jodi Geiser, assisting some of the most popular New England regional chefs, returning guest favorites, and for the first time – celebrated New York chefs. The series gets underway on Thursday, May 26th when chef David Blessing of Aujourd’hui at Four Seasons Boston prepares a menu of chilled sweet pea soup with lobster and mint; poached east coast halibut with asparagus, fava beans, ramps and fine herb emulsion; slow braised veal cheek with spring dug parsnips, morel mushrooms, heirloom carrots and zinfandel jus; Queso Azul Spanish blue cheese with Jerez sherry glazed almonds, micro celery and port reduction; and an undisclosed dessert.
