Chef de cuisine Mark Usewicz invites Cantabrigians to spice up their weekday dining at Neighborhood Nights at Rustic Kitchen, Cambridge for Panini Nights and special tastings from The Oysteria. On Monday nights, sous chef Paul Oberhauser demonstrates his pressed sandwich expertise with offerings like wood oven roasted Porchetta on garlic ciabatta with salsa verde and pickles; and buttermilk fried rock shrimp with spicy aioli, crunchy shaved fennel and roasted tomatoes. On Wednesday and Thursdays, Usewicz will be offering five-course tasting menus from the Oysteria. Expect dishes like Wellfleet oysters with Trebbiano mignonette; tuna crudo with Saba mint and chiles; or seared wahoo with pickled eggplant and crispy sage.
