Now in its twelfth year, Pie in the Sky, Community Servings’ annual Thanksgiving fundraiser, is drawing to a close. Take the opportunity over the next couple of days to purchase your Thanksgiving pies baked by some of Boston’s top pastry chefs, bakeries, caterers and churches. The pies, which come in shades of pecan, apple, pumpkin, sweet potato and diabetic-friendly apple, cost $25 each and can be purchased by going to www.pieinthesky.org. Proceeds from what’s become known as the “World’s Greatest Bake Sale” support Community Servings’ efforts to deliver hot, nutritional meals to people ill with AIDS.
