Rustic Kitchen Launches its Own Wine Label

Teaming up with Napa’s Sequoia Grove, Rustic Kitchen is making plans to launch its own private wine label. Rustic Kitchen chef Bill Bradley met with old friend and Sequoia Grove owner Jim Allen on a trip to Napa last January. The two created 12 to 14 blends that were all shipped back to Boston for the Rustic team to taste test. The team’s unanimous selection, a blend of 85% Cabernet/ 9% Merlot/ and 6% Syrah, will make it on the wine list for around $40 per bottle, and $10-12 per glass. Rustic expects their first delivery in time for the new Hingham location opening in September.
