The Taste of Boston has finally arrived. Saturday, September 20th and Sunday September 21st mark the 20th year of this annual event which attracts tens of thousands of visitors to City Hall Plaza for some of the best food and entertainment Boston has to offer. With your $1 Taste Tickets, sample food from restaurants like epiphany, The Independent, Rouge and the Capital Grille. Once your tummy is full, enjoy live music, batting cages, a putting green and, for the over 21 crowd, the Party @ the Taste tent, where beer and wine tastings will be underway (an additional $10 for those bearing proper identification). Keep an eye on the time ‘though, chef demonstrations from chefs like Mark Allen of Le Soir, Anthony Ambrose of Ambrosia on Huntington and Blackfin, Nicole Coady of Finale, and Robert Fathman of Azure will be going on throughout the weekend. Proceeds benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. The event runs from 11:00am-6:00pm on Saturday and from 12:00pm-6:00pm on Sunday. Check back for more information on participating chefs and restaurants.
