August Crab Festival

August is crab season at Magnolias where chef John Silberman rolls out a special menu for his annual August Crab Festival. Swing by 1193 Cambridge Street from August 3rd through August 28th for Silberman’s take on some crab-related southern favorites like rainbow trout filled with Creole crabmeat stuffing; and fresh Louisiana lump crabmeat surrounded by Bloody Mary salsa, hearts of palm and avocado, dressed with lime vinaigrette. You can also opt to keep it simple with dishes including layers of red vine-ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella topped with lump crabmeat and basil vinaigrette; or Maryland steamed Jonah Crab claws with drawn butter.
