New England Celebrity Chef Series at the Bedford Village Inn

The Bedford Village Inn welcomes some of the best chefs from around the region to their 2004 season of the New England Celebrity Chef Series. Chef Brian Williams of the Inn at Sawmill Farm in West Dover, Vermont and Eric Trites of the Hermitage Inn in southern Vermont have already made the trip to Bedford, New Hampshire to participate in the series. Coming up this summer: appearances from chefs like Mark Orfaly of Pigalle on Thursday, June 3rd; Chris Douglass of Icarus on Thursday, June 17th; Tom Gutow of the Castine Inn on Maine’s Penobscot Bay on Thursday, June 24th; and Dante deMagistris of blu at the Sports Club LA on Thursday, July 15th. Each week the guest chef guides the Bedford Inn staff through the preparation of his or her signature five-course menu, which is then paired with carefully selected wines to heighten the flavor of the meal. Following dessert, the chef arrives tableside to chat with diners and answer questions about any aspect of the dishes and their preparation.
