Goings on in Gloucester

After a brief winter respite, chef Nick Speros is back in the kitchen at 197 East Main dusting off old favorite recipes and trying out new ones for the restaurant’s February 3rd reopening. Of course if single digit temperatures are preventing you from making it to Gloucester, chef Speros is willing to teach you how to recreate your favorite 197 East Main dishes, in the comfort of your own home. He’s currently booking in-home cooking events for Tuesday nights during the months of March and April. The events will be interactive demonstrations of everything that goes into creating the meal–ingredient selection, preparation, cooking techniques and more.
