L, formerly Café Louis, features clean, simple Japanese- and Southeast Asian-influenced cuisine as interpreted chef Pino Maffeo. A Boston native, Maffeo returns after stints as co-executive chef of AZ and Pazo in New York. His opening menu includes potato spring roll, gunpowder smoked chicken with honey gelee & crème fraiche; brulee foie gras with toasted brioche & balsamic, saba reduction.
