Boston’s “Best Brunch” just got even better. Aquitaine in the South End has added an additional prix fixe menu to their standard Saturday brunch menu. For a mere $9.95 per person, guests start out with house-made cinnamon buns, then choose among omelet options like Omelette à la Grecque with spinach and feta cheese; Omelette de la Maison with bacon, smoked tomato and gruyere cheese and Eggs Pipperade with pepper, onion and tomato. Add caramelized onion home fries, seven grain toast, fresh juice and coffee to the mix ~ the price doesn’t change, that is unless you add something from the bar, which opens at 10:00am on Saturdays serving mimosas, creative cocktails and Bloody Marys. Aquitaine is open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am-3:00pm (though the special menu is available on Saturdays only). Call 617.424.8577 for reservations and more information.
