Chef Gordon Hamersley is offering a three-course Bistro Tasting Menu featuring recipes from his recently released cookbook, Bistro Cooking at Home. Diners can try the harvest salad with romesco and shaved croutons; slow roasted duck with pumpkin-mango chutney and a mouthwatering maple crème brûlée. Then they can take the cookbook home and try making Hamersley’s Bistro favorites in their own kitchens. The Bistro Tasting Menu is available for $46 and changes monthly. Autographed copies of the cookbook are also on sale for $35. Five dollars of each sale will be donated to Operation Frontline, a Share Our Strength program in which chefs teach cooking classes to low income families.
