A New Take on Brunch at Meritage

Mimicking his successful small-plate dinner concept, chef Daniel Bruce has created a new “passed tasting plate” Sunday brunch at Meritage. Throughout brunch servers circulate the dining room offering guests savory tasting plates creatively presented in miniature dishes and tasting spoons. Guests can choose from savory dishes like soft scrambled egg and caviar; chilled gazpacho cup; buttermilk fried sea scallop with fennel aioli; guacamole with tortilla threads and minted balsamic glazed grilled lamb chop. Guests are also offered dessert tasting plates, with seasonal sweets like farmer cheesecake, toasted coconut panna cotta, blueberry crème brulée and dark chocolate and mint pyramid. Meritage serves brunch Sundays from 10:00am-2:00pm. The price is $45 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 10. Call 617.439.3995 for reservations.
