Six Stand-Alone Dishes from the Independent

The look and feel of The Independent may be decidedly Irish pub-like, but with chef Mark Usewicz in the kitchen, don’t expect to find bangers and mash or corned beef and cabbage on the menu. Usewicz adds six new dishes to the Independent’s portfolio demonstrating again his aplomb with his own brand of American-bistro fare in dishes like grilled lamb or the bay and lemon thyme sorbet.
