Chef Jody Adams hits the road this week with stops in both Philadelphia and Boca Raton. On Wednesday, March 19th, Adams touches down at Fork (215.625.9425) as part of Philadelphia’s annual The Book and The Cook Festival where she’ll be promoting her IACP’s Cookbook Award-nominated cookbook. Her book, In the Hands of a Chef, co-written with her husband, writer Ken Rivard, illuminates the culinary philosophy that has earned Adams and Rialto so much praise. Adams spends the weekend in Florida for the first annual Boca Bacchanal, a winefest and auction to benefit children’s causes in Boca Raton and the Boca Raton Historical Society. The three-day affair, taking place from March 21-23, will feature fine wine gatherings, an alfresco wine tasting and by-the-bite lunch, and an evening of superb vintner dinners, prepared by a bevy of celebrated chefs, including Adams.
