News from the Aquitaine empire: While chef-owner Seth Woods and partners move forward in their plans for Union in the South End, Aquitaine Bis, their Chestnut Hill outpost, has added live jazz to their Sunday brunch and a “Pre Theater Prix Fixe” to their dinner menu. The $25 three-course menu is available Monday through Thursday from 5:30-6:30pm for folks looking for a quick bite before heading in town or just trying to catch a movie next door. As for the jazz, it starts at 12:00pm every Sunday afternoon. Not a jazz fan? Since brunch at Aquitaine Bis starts at 10:00 am, there are two whole music-free hours for those more in the mood for something quiet.
