Hopefully you’ve been combing the racks at the city’s vintage stores this fall for the ugliest holiday sweater because the season is upon us and Monument is ready for your gnarliest knitwear. Their annual Ugly Sweater Party is going down on Thursday, December 7th and if you think your jingle bell jumper (that’s what they call them in the UK) has what it takes to win, get yourself over to their Charleston digs by 7:00pm to strut your stuff. If you need a good excuse to rock around the Christmas tree, proceeds from the night are going to the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club, plus there’ll be drink specials, raffle prizes, and silent auctions throughout the evening, and of course there’ll be the sweater competition for ultimate bragging rights.
