Raise a glass (and a fork) to Women’s History Month at a special evening with some of Boston’s brightest culinary stars on Thursday, March 14th. Chef Karen Akunowicz and the team at Bar Volpe are putting together a Toast to Women’s History Month with their friends and fellow chefs Cassie Piuma of Sarma, Renae Connolly of Moëca and Daydreamer, and Kate Smith of Thistle and Leek. Tickets to this collaborative dinner cost $250 and include a delicious meal prepared by these four inspiring ladies, a KA gift box with a signed copy of Akunowicz’s new cookbook, her olive oil, a gold serving set and a few pantry staples. Part of the proceeds will go to Rosie’s Place, an organization offering a safe haven for LGBTQIA+ women and overnight shelter and other services to those in need.
