Taste of Japan: Exhibition & Wagyu Beef Seminar

Calling all restaurant professionals and food retailers, get a taste of Japan right in Charlestown at this can’t miss industry-only exhibition. In addition to showcasing a diverse array of Japanese food and beverage products, the event features a Japanese Wagyu Seminar & Demonstration, plus it’s free to attend!

With 16 unique Japanese producers sampling everything from sake, wasabi and mushrooms to green tea, miso and yuzu, and the option to directly connect with distributors, it’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

As a restaurant professional or food retailer, you’ll get to attend a Japanese Wagyu Seminar & Demo led by none other than America’s most celebrated butcher, Pat LaFrieda joined by renowned wagyu importer, Wagyuman. The two will do a deep dive into everything wagyu, explaining what makes the beef so unique as well as how to profit from putting it on your menu. They’ll even serve up a few wagyu-centric dishes for the crowd.

The Taste of Japan, is Thursday, June 27th at Foundation Kitchen (32 Cambridge St Charlestown, MA 02129) from 1:00-5:00pm, with the Wagyu Seminar & Demonstration taking place from 1:30-3:00pm. The event is hosted by the Consulate General of Japan in Boston and JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization).
